I had the good fortune to spend some time with Linda recently when she came down to Ohio to visit with her sister. The three of us spent the better part of an afternoon inside a car driving around Monroe, Michigan, while Linda described all of her memories, friends and favorite spots. I got to see and hear Linda play a piano, while she was standing, witnessing her love of music. I saw Linda knit while she carried on a conversation and saw her love of crafting. I ate a meal that Linda created without the use of recipes, smelling heavenly aromas I've never smelled before and experiencing tastes and textures I've never eaten before, seeing first-hand, Linda's love of cooking. I am very thankful for the time I was able to spend with Linda.
