Lucretia "LuAnn" Dare's Obituary
Lucretia “LuAnn” Dare age 76 of Clay Twp., MI passed away August 27, 2023 in the Blue Water Hospice Home. She was born July 18, 1947 in Pontiac, MI to the late Kurt and Hanna (Brower) Kas. She married Dale Vernon Dare on May 22, 1965 in Detroit, MI.
LuAnn was a long-time member of the Queen of Peace School PTO in Harper Woods, MI. She was an avid gardener and took great pride in caring for her home. She loved and took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed trying her luck at bingo, the casinos, and horse racing. She loved to fish and always had a pot of coffee on and welcomed every guest into her home.
Mrs. Dare is survived by her husband Dale, children Daniel (Melissa) Dare, Deborah Dare, and David (Joanne) Dare, grandchildren Dale, Dakota, Charlie, Michael, and Amelia, siblings Sharon (Jimmy) McDonald and Richard (Linda) Kas. She was preceded in death by siblings Gloria, Curt, and Darlene.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Children's Hospital of Michigan, 3901 Beaubien Blvd., Detroit, MI 48201
