Lydia Rose Blackburn's Obituary
Lydia Rose Blackburn, age 27, of Algonac, MI passed away October 2, 2023 in her home. She was born April 25, 1996 in East China Twp., MI.
Lydia enjoyed spending time arranging her stuffed animals and Disney books. She loved being outdoors in the sunshine. Her smile and determination would light up a room.
Lydia is survived by her mother Cherri (Mike Rowe) Blackburn, her father Richard (Kim) Blackburn II, sister Hannah Marie (Sam Mahmud) Blackburn, grandmother Marcyln Blackburn, niece Zhureena Mahmud, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was proceeded in death by maternal grandmother Ilene Scully and paternal grandfather Richard Blackburn.
A celebration of life will be held from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM Friday October 13, 2023, with a memorial service at 1:30 PM, in the Young Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Childrens Hospital of Michigan-Detroit, MI. or to the Ronald McDonald House Detroit, https://rmhc-detroit.org/.
