I am so sorry to hear of Marty's passing. Prayers for Sue, and for all of his family.
Marty and I worked together at GM and became good friends over the years. Marty had a passion for the Great Lakes and was one of the best Captains I knew. He always put a smile on my face when ever we got together. Marty and I shared a lot of life up\\\\\\\\'s and down\\\\\\\\'s , he was a true friend. I will miss Marty and his good nature ways. I will always know how blessed I was to have Marty in my life and will always cherish that friendship. My God Bless you Marty and always hold you close. Rest in Peace my friend. Our Prayers are with Jo and family.
A Great friend, always a good time and plenty of laughs. You will be missed. It was an honor to have you as a friend..
I was so sad to hear of Marty's passing. He was one of the truly good guys. I haven't seen Marty in a few years as I now live in Arizona, but I worked with him for 11-12 years before he retired. He was my "work buddy" and sat in the cube next to me for many years. The last time I saw him was in about 2007 when several of us retirees got together for lunch. I have a picture of the gang and that is how I will always remember Marty, with a big smile on his face. RIP my friend.
My best friend of 40 years. Thank you for your support, encouragement and care. Never once did we have a cross word or disagreement. But we did share some great adventures, luckily never harming ourselves or others. Til we boat again on the Great Lakes of Heaven. You will be greatly missed. RIP .... The KID.
