Mary Jane Korneffel's Obituary
Mary Jane Korneffel age 80 of Algonac, MI. passed away June 26, 2022, in the McLaren Macomb Hospital. She was born March 2, 1942 in Algonac, to the late Vernon and Violet (McGeachy) Warner. She married Jerry E. Korneffel on June 25, 1960, in Marine City, MI. He passed away August 31, 2004.
Mary Jane was a waitress/cook for many years in several local area restaurants including Henry's, Sid's, Captains II, The Boat, Port-O-Call and Bud's. She loved her grandchildren, pets (dogs and cats), and cooking. She enjoyed singing Patsy Cline, Anne Murray, and God Bless America. She was the life of the party and had an infectious laugh.
Mrs. Korneffel is survived by her son Jerry (Jody Neuman) Korneffel Jr., daughter Windie (Jon) DeBoyer, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services 1:00 PM Wednesday June 29, 2022, in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Visitation 11:00 AM Wednesday until time of services in the funeral home.
