Nancy Jane Mizer
Age 85 of Algonac, MI. died December 7, 2013 in her home. She was born July 2, 1928 in Detroit, MI.
Nancy graduated from Hillsdale College and went on to receive her Master's Degree from the U of M. She taught in Ann Arbor, Mt. Clemens, Marine City, and Algonac, for many years. She was a member of the Algonac Athena Club, and enjoyed acting with the Theatre Arts Club of Detroit and the Algonac Community Theater.
Mrs. Mizer is survived by her daughter Georgia (Rick) LaParl, grandchildren Christopher Ceder, Michael Ceder and Sarah Ceder, great grandchildren Dylan and Kaylie.
Private memorial services have been held. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac.
