Maureen Frances Roche's Obituary
Maureen F. Roche age 57 of Algonac, MI. passed away unexpectedly in her home January 10, 2022. She was born December 13, 1964 in Grosse Pointe, MI.
Maureen received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Wayne State University. She retired from the Eastpointe Community Schools system in 2015. After her retirement she continued as a substitute teacher for the East China School system. She enjoyed spending time with her son, spending time with friends and family on the river and enjoying her cats.
Maureen is survived by her son Garrett Roche, parents Maurice and Barbara Roche, siblings Valerie Bost, Catherine (Ron) Kotula, Diane (Butch) Alder, and Bridget Roche, dear friends Michael Rozelle and Grady Bowman, nieces Chelsea Kotula, Stephanie (Andrew) Gustafsson, and Jenna Kotula, and a nephew Brian Alder.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday January 18, 2022 in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Visitation 11:00 AM until time-of-service Tuesday. Memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes.
