Michael "Mike" Short's Obituary
Michael "Mike" Short age 54 of Algonac, MI. died November 9, 2018 in the Detroit Receiving Hospital. He was born April 4, 1964 in Mt. Clemens, MI. to the late Thomas Short and Mary Ann (nee Carr) Short-Westrick. He married Sandra E. George on June 27, 1992 in Algonac.
Mike is survived by his wife Sandy, a son Michael T. Short, siblings Dennis (Hye Yong) Short, Nancy Short-Loper, Thomas J. Short, Cathy (Denny) Warner, Marianne Vaccaro, Carrie (Bud) Short Stern, and Richard (Leila) Short, sisters-in-law Michele (Walter) Reid, Elaine (Karl) Richardson, and Gina (Jeff) Thompson, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter Tara Lee Short.
A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday November 17, 2018 in the Our Lady on the River Parish Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City, MI. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes.
