Morris Edward Pruitt's Obituary
Morris Edward Pruitt age 72 of Algonac, MI. passed away July 3, 2020 in the Ascension St. John Hospital Detroit. He was born July 2, 1948 in Lawrenceburg, TN. to the late W.E. and I.V. (nee Matthews) Pruitt. He married JoAnn Delargey on October 27, 1967 in Detroit, MI.
Morris enjoyed fishing and deer & rabbit hunting. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #138 Smithland, Kentucky.
Mr. Pruitt is survived by his soul mate JoAnn Pruitt, children Charles Pruitt of Algonac, and Roger (Patricia) Pruitt of Algonac, grandchildren Samantha Pruitt of Belleville, MI., Casey Pruitt of Algonac, and Donovan Pruitt of Algonac, siblings Shirley (Donald) Corsetti, Patricia Earles, and Lloyd Pruitt.
Funeral services 12:00 Noon Wednesday July 8, 2020, in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, with John Highstreet of the Algonac Church of Christ officiating, Visitation, subject to COVID distancing restrictions, will be 10:00 AM until Noon Wednesday. Burial will be in the Lakeport Cemetery, Burtchville Twp., MI.
