Patricia Santavy's Obituary
Patricia Santavy age 89, of Clay Twp., MI. died January 14, 2021 in her home. She was born October 1, 1931 in Blenheim, Ontario, Canada, to the late Michael and Francis (Solarik) Kocis. She married Anthony Joseph Santavy on April 30, 1955 in Blenheim, Canada. He passed away October 13, 2020.
Pat enjoyed all things to do with the outdoors everything from Cross country skiing and snowmobiling, to water sports including boating and fishing. She was an avid quilter and was a member of the Piece to Peace Quilters of Algonac.
Mrs. Santavy is survived by her children, Deborah Santavy, Sandra (James) Angers, Tammy (Scott) Brandt, and Mark (Michelle) Santavy, grandchildren Lee Angers, Jacob Angers, Whitney Angers, Tayler Brandt, Carly Brandt, Riley Brandt, Brent Santavy, Cori Snyder, and Meredith Snyder, sisters Rose (the late Joseph) Slavik, Francis (the late Lawrence) Banks, and Helen (Frank) Sysel.
A memorial funeral mass will be held Tuesday January 19, 2021 at 12:00 Noon in Our lady on the River Parish St. Catherines Catholic Church, Algonac, MI. Family members will receive friends beginning at 11:00 AM Tuesday, prior to the mass. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Piece to Peace Quilters, 1601 St. Clair River Dr. Algonac, MI. 48001
