Patrick J. Craig age 90 of Algonac, MI. passed away March 31, 2023, in his home. He was born March 3, 1933 in Spangler, PA. He married Jeanine Frances Busuttil on January 14, 1956 in Algonac.Mr. Craig was a Korean War Veteran having served with the US Army.Mr. Craig is survived by his wife of 67 years Jeanine, children Ranee (Mark) Zimmerman, Carrie (Al) Gallo-Elsden, Peggy (Scott) Uhl, and Michael P. Craig, grandchildren Erin Forney, Erik Zimmerman, Jordan (Alexandra) Uhl, Allison (Andrew) Wenturine, and Tyler (Jillian) Uhl, great grandchildren Evelyn Uhl, Addison Wenturine, Rory Uhl, and Lincoln Uhl, a brother Robert (the late Bonnie) Lenhardt, a sister-in-law Diane Busuttil, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Vernetta Makin, a daughter Julie Anne Craig, a sister Winona Parkenson, a brother-in-law Charles Busuttil, a sister-in-law Charlene McEachin, and a brother-in-law William McEachin.Visitation 10:30 AM, with mass at 11:00 AM Tuesday April 4, 2023, in the Our Lady on the River Parish St. Catherines Catholic Church, Algonac. Visitation Monday April 3, 2023, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, a rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM and with Military Honors presented at 8:00 PM, in Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Burial will be in the St. Catherines Cemetery, Algonac.Memorial donations may be made to VNA/Blue Water Hospice 2795 Edison Dr. Marysville, MI 48040, or to the Michigan Veterans Foundation 4626 Grand River Ave. Detroit, MI. 48208.
