Dear Gail, I can't tell you the joy I had when I saw Rich at two sad occassions in the last 3 years: the funerals of 2 very special women we loved growing up. I was the neighborhood tom-gir in the neightborhood boy's club in Clinton Township, and knew both him and his younger brother Dan. The memories are priceless and I am so terribly saddened by his passing. I am sorry I never met you or your family; I will always think of how passionate he had always been toward trying new things and how he treated me like a sister in our youth. May the Lord fill your heart with joyful memories & peace.
Gail, Mike, Mary Gay and the entire Jolly family. I cannot express how saddened I am to learn of Rich's passing. He was the best ever. I have so, so many memories of him growing up and reconnecting a few years back. He was incredibly kind to my mother when she was up the road from he and Gail. I will never forget his kindness in helping out by stopping in or suggesting contractors to resolve whatever we were trying to have fixed. He gave me great peace of mind from out of state. Richard Jolly has been my best friend for 31 years. There are no words to describe the devastation I feel by his passing. I will continue to be a friend to the love of his life, Gail. The Jolly family will remain in my prayers. Richard had tremendous love for his people and I consider it an honor to know his parents. With God's help I will go on without my friend but he will always own a piece of my heart and mine his.
Gail we are all sorry for your loss. Rich was that guy! full of life and energy. Met Rich at WMU and reconnected with Rich in Northeast Ohio when he started blazing the trail in sales and playing pickup hoops. When I was fortunate to visit Michigan, I made it point to visit Rich. A great host, fun on the boat. He was the ultimate story teller. Got to see Rich a couple of times in Atlanta and brought back so many memories, good times, laughs and some business talk.
