Richard John Krzysztalowicz's Obituary
Richard John Krzysztalowicz, affectionately known as “Slick Rick”, age 74 of Clay Twp., MI passed away September 29, 2025 in his home. He was born March 28, 1951 in Detroit, MI to the late Jan and Helena (nee Grelichowska) Krzysztalowicz.
Rick retired from the Chrysler Corp. as a pipefitter in 2018. He enjoyed boating, reading, going to the casinos, watching sports on tv, caring for his lawn, and was referred to as a present-day Dr. Doolittle the way he talked to animals.
Rick is survived by his wife Tracy, son Dylan Sanders, brother-law Dennis (Joanne) Ryskewicz, niece Crystal Gruner, nephew Brad Ryskewicz, granddaughters Victoria Strickland and Summer Strickland, and many other extended family members and friends, his feline companions Shadow, Oreo, and Baby. He was preceded in death by his first wife Linda (nee Ryskewicz) Krzysztalowicz.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Young Gilbert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Algonac, MI.
