Robert A. Stubbs' Obituary
Robert A. Stubbs age 79 of Algonac, MI. died November 29, 2017 in Richmond, MI. He was born March 11, 1938 in Detroit, MI. to the late Truman and Dorothy Stubbs. He married Kathleen K. Stubbs on February 23, 1963 in Mt. Clemens, MI.
Bob retired from Ford Motor Co. after 32 years of service. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, duck carver, and hockey coach.
Mr. Stubbs is survived by wife Kay, children Lori (David) Darbyshire, and Michael (Beth) Stubbs, grandchildren Elizabeth Stubbs, Jon Stubbs, Katelyn Darbyshire, Ava Darbyshire, Olivia Stubbs, Jacob Stubbs, and Ella Stubbs, great grandchildren Owen and Gracie, siblings Dr. Bruce (Mary-Paul) Stubbs, and Don (Felice) Stubbs. He was preceded in death by a son Rob Stubbs and a brother Jim Stubbs.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-4 PM Saturday December 9, 2017 in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of thedonor\'s choice.
