Rose Mary Thorp's Obituary
Rose Mary Thorp age 89 of Fraser, MI. died December 28, 2018 in Fraser Villa Nursing Home. She was born October 8, 1929 in Piedmont, WV. to the late Lawrence and Catherine (nee Lamberco) Cricelli. She married George J. Thorp on November 14, 1950, in Detroit, MI.
Rose was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She had the biggest heart and will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Thorp is survived by her husband George, her son John Thorp, a daughter-in-law Nancy Thorp, grandchildren Melissa (Keith) Chambers, Amy (Jason) Hansen, Anthony Thorp, Daniel (Shelby) Thorp, Nicholas Thorp, and Jamie Thorp, great grandchildren Leah, Benjamin, Nicholas, Peyton, and Avery, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons George Thorpand Barry Thorp, and siblings Nicky Cricelli, Maria Gebauer, Jimmy Cricelli, Nancy Olds, and Julia Cricelli.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI.
