Sally Ann Federoff's Obituary
Sally Ann Federoff, age 82, formerly of Clay Twp., MI passed away June 20, 2025 in the Medilodge of St. Clair. She was born October 2, 1942 in Detroit, MI to the late Joseph and Justine (nee Taylor) Lama. She married Robert “Bob” Federoff on October 17, 1964. Bob passed away January 5, 2003 after 38 years of marriage.
Sally graduated in 1960, from Saint Mary of Redford High School, Detroit, MI. She was employed as a secretary for Kelvinator Division of American Motors in Detroit and later at Kane, Clemons and Joachim Attorneys for 15 years, in Algonac.
She loved Algonac and permanently moved to the Oak Grove Colony in the late 1970’s, where she and her husband Bob raised their two boys. Freighters had always been a passion for Sally, she could name nearly every ship on the Great Lakes just from their silhouette in the distance. In recent years she was grateful for the cameras along the river as she was able to continue to follow her beloved freighters online. Sally was a very well loved and social person and thoroughly enjoyed her cherished friendships, life-long friends and those developed over the years at Snoopy’s Dog House and the Jet Fuelers Boat Club.
Mrs. Federoff is survived by her sons Dennis (Susan – who preceded him in life) Federoff and his daughters Natalie and Stephanie, and Daniel Federoff and his daughter Taylor, and her children Austin, Aria, and Amari, and a sister Suzy Kelley.
Sally’s circle of friends made her and her life very special. The family would like to thank you and everyone for their thoughts and prayers in this time of sorrow.
Mrs. Federoff will be instate at 10:30 AM, with mass at 11:00 AM Friday June 27, 2025 in the Our Lady on the River Parish St. Catherines Catholic Church, Algonac.
