Sharon Lee Thomas' Obituary
Sharon Lee Thomas, age 80, of Cottrellville Twp., MI passed away November 14, 2025 in the McLaren Macomb Hospital. She was born November 26, 1944 in Detroit, MI to the late Garold and Lenore (Cressman) Petit.
Sharon was a 1961 graduate of the former Servite High School in Detroit. She was an assistant librarian at the Algonquin Junior High, and a former horse wrangler at the Chartier Stables. She enjoyed playing pool and was a member of the Blue Water Women’s Pool League in the Algonac – Marine City Area.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by children Dawn (John Leatzau) Fougnie, Tracy M. Graves, and bonus daughter Crystal (John) Sluck, grandchildren Whitney Thomas, Cassandra (Matt Romo) Graves, John F. Leatzau, Justin Leatzau, Selena (Greg Lamb) Graves, and Russell Graves, great grandchildren Colin, Dakota, Reyna, and Emma, and a sister Gale Kreuger. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Thomas, brothers Garold “Buck” Petit, and Max Petit, niece Michelle Black and a nephew Dave Petit.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Young Gilbert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Algonac, MI.
