Shirley M. Ivan,
age 84 of Algonac, MI. died February 22, 2014 in the Village of East Harbor Nursing Home, New Baltimore, MI. She was born November 15, 1929 in Detroit, MI. She married Paul P. Ivan on June 17, 1950 in Detroit.
Mrs. Ivan is survived by her husband Paul, children Paul (Roberta) Ivan, William (Darlene) Ivan, Jerome (Theresa) Ivan, and Joseph (Karen) Ivan, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
Mrs. Ivan will be instate at 10:30 AM Friday February 28, 2014 with Mass at 11:00 AM in the Our Lady On the River Parish St. Catherines Catholic Church, Algonac. Visitation Wednesday 6-9 PM, Thursday 1-4 & 6-9 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Thursday in the funeral Home. Burial will be in the St. Catherines Cemetery, Algonac. Memorial donations may be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen. http://www.cskdetroit.org/donation_info
