To meet this man in the unfortunate way, I can see how much he is loved by Algonac and beyond. He has reached out to so many and allowed greatness for all. He has indirectly taught me by his family and shown amounts love that is indescribable. As was said today, "times of trouble in the presence is peace and courage in the future"

Spencer was obviously a light in this community and world. May God bless him. I’ll miss seeing him in church with Mary.
I had Mr. Adkins in 8th grade. That was in 1971. He was a great teacher. The last time I seen him was at riviera restaurant. It was good to see him after many years. Prayers to his family
He was my Idol in 8th. grade. Awesome, caring teacher. He will be missed by many. Hugs and prayers to the family.
