Thomas Arthur Hogg age 81 of Harsens Island, MI. died June 11, 2018 in his home. He was born November 4, 1936 in Detroit, MI. He married Carol Ann Havens, on February 27, 1965 on Harsens Island.
Tom served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was self-employed licensed builder, spidersprayer, plumbing and general contractor. The Spiderman "was a self made man"?. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, boating and gardening. He was a Harsens Island Lions member, twice past president, and a member of the Harsens Island Fired Department for 23 years. He was a devoted, loving, husband, father, grandpapa, and great grandpapa.
Mr. Hogg is survived by his wife Carol, children Mary Ann (Bill) Harvey, and Deborah Renata (Eric) Mehl, grandchildren Shannon Harvey, Kristy Harvey, Misty Harvey, Jamie Harvey, Kyle Mehl, and Kristie Mehl,9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday June 15,2018 in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI. Visitation 6-9 PM Thursday and 10:00 AM Friday until time of services.
