Thomas R. Molenda's Obituary
Thomas R. Molenda age 77 of Algonac, MI. died July 14, 2018 in his home. He was born September 16, 1940 in Detroit, MI. to the late Stanley and Mary (nee Jaksim) Molenda. He married Barbara A. Chopp on August 29, 1959, in Detroit, MI.
Tom was a proud member of the Carpenters Union, Local #96, and a member of the Our Lady On the River Parish St. Catherines Catholic Church, Algonac.
Mr. Molenda is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Marie (Dave) Mooty, grandchildren Brittany (Nick) Norkiewicz, Kyle Mooty, and Morgan Mooty, a brother Stanley (Patricia) Molenda. He was preceded in death by a son Tommy Molenda.
A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Friday July 20, 2018 Our Lady On the River Parish St. Catherines Catholic Church, Algonac. Visitation Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes.
