Thomas Norcross
age 94 of Algonac, MI. died November 23, 2013 in the Village of East Harbor Nursing Home. He was born August 10, 1919 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He married Helen Bendler on September 19, 1947 in Detroit, MI., she died January 6, 2007.
Thomas was a member of the Checker Board Squares, Square Riggers, and the Erie Square, Square dancing clubs. He was a long time member of the Epiphany Lutheran Church of Detroit, and a past president of the Hope Lutheran Church Congregation, Goodells, MI., for over 20 years.
Mr. Norcross is survived by his daughters Kathleen Kollmorgen, Nancy Norcross, and Laurel (David) Van Tiem, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a sister Janet Norcross.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday January 11, 2014 in the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Algonac. Memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac.
