Timothy M. Traister age 68 of Harper Woods, MI. died October 20, 2019 in his summer cottage on Russell Island, MI. He was born September 12, 1951 in Detroit, MI. to the late Homer and Lenore (nee Marschner) Traister.
Tim was a lifelong Islander and leaves behind many loving and cherished friends.
Mr. Traister is survived by his beloved daughters Jennifer (Rick) Stieber and Emily (Brett) Traister, his loving grandchildren Isabell and Felix, siblings Kathleen (Bob) Ziegler, Pat (Bob) Degrieck, and Thomas (Coreen) Traister, brother-in-law Jack Shea, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Susan Shea.
Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI. Memorial donations may be made to the Russell Island Foundation or to the Family Wishes.
