Vincent "Bernie" Ohlert III's Obituary
Vincent Bernard "Bernie" Ohlert III age 60 of Casco, MI passed away July 12, 2026 in his home. He was born July 17, 1965 in Detroit, MI to the late Vincent B. II and Veronica S. (Libka) Ohlert.
Bernie grew up in Warren, MI and graduated from Cousino High School in 1983. He enjoyed classic sports cars and working on vintage outboard motors. In the late 1980’s he started doing heating and cooling as an installer and then partnered, with his brother Mike, in their company Astro Heating and Cooling.
Bernie is survived by his brother Michael (Amy) Ohlert, sister Cheryl Kopp, nieces and nephews Jade (Brent) Ohlert-Lazzarino, Justin Kopp, Julia Kopp, Daniel Kopp, Korben Mead, and Genevive Mead., and great niece Sawyer Lazzarino.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Young Gilbert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Algonac, MI.
