Wallace Michael Burgess' Obituary
Wallace Michael Burgess age 73 of Clay Twp., MI passed away August 9, 2024 in his home. He was born August 12, 1950 in Detroit, MI to the late Wallace E. and Lillian G. (Caliguri) Burgess.
Wally enjoyed baseball, football, basketball, and fishing. He loved being around his children and grandchildren.
Wally is survived by his daughters Rachel (Daniel Sequeira) Broder and Ashley (Adam) Kozlowski, dear friend and companion Laurette Thomas and her daughter Rita Thomas and her granddaughter Amanda Thomas, grandchildren Jacob (Raeanne) Burgess, Travis Broder, Katelyn Broder, Madyson Broder, Riley Broder, Cassidy Broder, Nathan Burgess, Kenzley Burgess, Anden, Kozlowski, Colton Kozlowski, and Melody Kozlowski, great grandchildren Parker Gerovac and Callan Carbon, sister Patricia (John Gilbert) Upton-Kabot, and brother Perry Burgess, dear friends Janet (the late Steve) Ashcraft, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sister Karen S. Funk and brother Mark S. Burgess.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Young Gilbert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. Algonac, MI.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes.
