Wesley Wes Simons' Obituary
Wesley "Wes" Simons, age 79 of Cottrellville Twp., MI. died February 12, 2017 in the McLaren Port Huron Hospital. He was born October 26, 1937 in the family residence in Starville, MI. He married Mary Agnes Gibbard on April 2, 1982 in Marine City, MI.
Wes owned and operated, along with his wife, Wes Simons Trucking and Excavating Inc. for 47 years.
Mr. Simons is survived by his wife Mary Agnes, children Wesley Jr., Scott, Gregory, and Laura Luotonen, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday March 10, 2017 in the Our Lady on the River St. Catherines Catholic Church Algonac. A memorial visitation will be held at St. Catherines Catholic Church from 6-8 PM Thursday and 10:00 AM Friday until time of mass, with a rosary being recited at 7:00 PM Thursday. Memorial donation may be made to Our Lady on the River Food Pantry. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac.
