William "Bill" H Meldrum Sr's Obituary
William "Bill" H. Meldrum Sr, age 72 of Algonac MI. died February 6, 2016 in his home of cancer surrounded by his family. He was born September 28, 1943 to the late Karl and Frances Meldrum.
William is survived by his wife, Pennie (nee Fritz) His children: BJ (Amy), Tony (Jill), Christopher, Kimberly (Eric) Toth, Paul, Jessica Stringer & James (Susan) Stringer
Grandchildren Ally (Joshua), William "Billy"?, Olivia (Chad), Leah, Kendra, Hannah, Robert James "RJ"?, Matthew, Jenna, Hope, Cooper, Spencer, Paisley and Great Grandson Chadwick Jr, Sisters: Mary (David), Carla (Chuck) & Joan, Brothers: Mike (Fran), John (Carol), Peter (Darlene), Tony (Debbie) & Mark. Many loving Brother & Sister in laws, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins & Friends. Bill was always blessed with a wide range of family love and support.
William served in the United States Army and retired from the St. Clair County Road Commission he took pride in his work and became very skilled in his work with heavy equipment.
Throughout his life, William was an avid hunter & fisherman, whose passion went beyond the hunt. His appreciation and love of nature would often find him sitting quietly watching and listening. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR, reading adventure novels, country music, vacationing and spending time with family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St.Judes.
Memorial service to be held Saturday February 13 at 11:00AM. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM at the Algonac Church of Christ, Algonac, MI
