William Bill" Golm's Obituary
William "Bill" Golm age 72 of Algonac, MI. passed away October 19, 2021 in the St. Johns Ascension Hospital Detroit. He was born April 28, 1949 in Dover, DE. to the late Otto and Ellen (nee Earle) Golm.
Bill was a U S Navy Vietnam Veteran. He was a master craftsman boat carpenter. He owned and operated Bills Marine Service specializing in wooden boat restoration. He enjoyed many wood working projects including making local school mascots, lawn ornaments, and corn hole games. Bill was known throughout the area as the local go-to- guy for Chris Craft boat parts to complete their collections.
Bill is survived by his children Timothy (Nicole) Golm, Russell Golm, and Amy Golm, grandchildren Nolan Golm, and Lillie Golm, siblings Christy (Peter)Donnelly, and Otto Golm, dearest aunt Gloria Espinosa, and many extended family members including nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday October 24, 2021, at the Algonac Lions Club. 1905 Mill St. Algonac, MI. 48001. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes.
