William Lee LaParl Sr.'s Obituary
William Lee LaParl Sr. age 67 of Clay Twp., MI. died July 6, 2019 in his home. He was born May 26, 1952 in Mt. Clemens, MI. to the late Louis Sr. and Edith (nee Maynard) LaParl. He married Barbara J. Wagner on September 6, 1995 in Port Huron, MI.
Bill served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was assigned to a Pershing Missile detail in Germany. He retired as a mechanical journeyman for the Detroit Edison, and was a proud member of the NRA.
Mr. LaParl is survived by his wife Barbara, sons William (Crystal Hart) LaParl Jr. and Clayton LaParl, grandchildren Chase LaParl, Hailee LaParl, and Cody LaParl, a great granddaughter Raylynn LaParl, and brothers Maynard Glenn (Ruth Ann) LaParl, and Louis (Sherry) LaParl.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday July 12, 2019 in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI. Visitation 1-4 & 6-9 PM Thursday. Burial, with military honors, immediately following the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes.
