Constance Marie Witherspoon's Obituary
Constance Marie Witherspoon, age 82, formerly of Algonac, MI passed away November 22, 2025 in Sterling Heights, MI. She was born February 7, 1943 to the late Frank and Clara (nee Burdo) Barkman. She married David A. Witherspoon on July 8, 1977, he passed away August 6, 2023.
Constance attended Redford Union High School. She was formerly employed at the Saunders Bakery, Detroit, Chris Craft Corporation, Algonac, and Lionel Trains, Chesterfield. She and her husband David enjoyed and spent much time walleye fishing.
Mrs. Witherspoon is survived by her children Lorraine (Joseph) Foglio, Amy (David) Scott, and Steven (Tracey) Sumner, brother Michael (Claudia) Barkman, grandchildren Anthony Foglio, Sophia Foglio, Mitchell (Gaia) Pampu, and Beth (Chris Eagleson) Sumner, great grandchildren Evelyn Pampu, Romulus Pampu, Cole Sumner, and Aria Sumner. She was preceded in death by a sister Suzanne McKeown.
A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 to 3:00 PM Saturday December 6, 2025 in the Young Gilbert Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Algonac, MI.
