An iconic Muskrat, a brilliant teacher, my mentor and my friend. Because of Mr. Wes I found my love for education, educators and chose to attempt to follow in his footsteps. I was privileged to work beside him at AHS for several years. I have no doubt he holds a very special place in heaven and the family has a very special guardian angel. My heartfelt condolences to the very special people who are lucky enough to be called his family.
Mr. Wes was my government teacher 1965-1966. He cared about kids!
He came to our 50th class reunion in 2016. He was a much loved teacher.
His family are in my prayers.

Jim was a sweet caring man. Looked forward to my
daily hiya handsome with his reply hiya beautiful. He always made my day. My sympathies to his entire family, but I’m so glad he got to celebrate his 90th with his family. RIP sir. You will be missed deeply!
I had the honor to be in his Government Class at AHS 86 Great man, I think he loved taking about our next game more than the lectures. RIP Mr Wes. Dennis Tuzinowski
As a Senior I brought him a coffee every morning…One of the best teachers Muskrat.Nation ever had…RIP Mr. Wes
I always enjoyed Mr. Wes’s class. We always started class with sharing a current event. I always appreciated that he never confused me with my sister Rose, lol. Even years after school he knew I was Linda and not Rose. Rest In Peace Mr. Wes.
I moved to Algonac at 14; a very tenuous time. Mr. Wes was one of my first teachers. He made me laugh and treated me like he knew me my entire life. What a TREASURE you are and will always be, sir. Oodles of LOVE to all who’ve surrounded you in this life. Thank you. 🙏

Mr. (Jim) Wesoloski is a prominent member of my personal 'Pantheon of Heros'. I learned about English literature in his classes at AHS (the old school in Algonac before the move to Taft Road) But he imparted so much more about how to think objectively, learn, and live.
