I am sorry to hear of the passing of Morrie. He was a super person to talk to and always happy to hold a conversation with you. My thoughts and prayers to the family.
What I remember most about Uncle Jr is the many times he came to visit his sister (my Mom). There was always something he'd bring up as a way to pick on her, his sly grin giving away the real reason he was there. That same grin would show up on my Mom's face as she would very often shake her head, perhaps relive a memory and even sometimes give him a slap on the arm. Those exchanges opened a part of their lives to me and the special bond they held. Always larger than life, I remember fast cars, hard work and a strong connection to family. Rest well Butch, I hope you have found your big sister and are sitting around an old kitchen table telling stories.
You always made me laugh Uncle Jr. I loved how you always gave my Mom a hard time. I will miss your laugh and good heart.
Goodbye Uncle Butch. Everyone will miss you. Growing up I could depend on you being a no nonsense crackup. Vaya con dios.
