Dearest Candi and Family,
Words are not adequate to express the depth of sorrow that Michael's passing away so quickly and unexpectedly has brought to you!! We, together with all your family, friends, and countless others who have been touched by Michael's grace, kindness, wisdom, strength of character, humor and "Joie de Vivre", share your sadness and send you our deepest condolences!
I well remember the night you and Mike met. It was New Year's Eve at "Port O'Call", (the exact date escapes me...1974-1975?) The light in both of your eyes shone when first you looked at each other. While holding each other's gaze, your destiny was foretold. You belonged together!! This February you celebrated your 41st Wedding Anniversary; however, it was on that New Year's Eve.... your lives together began.
As long, as we remember Mike in our hearts and reminisce together in the joys, adventures, and the many stories we will share of his lifetime, he will remain alive in our memories, hearts, and minds.
I wonder if he would chuckle with amusement or amazement at the sheer number of occasions and circumstances, and of all the people and pets whose souls have touched by his presence?
Rest well, Michael, my dearest friend and brother.
Sending you all our love, aways, Dearest Candi,
Becky, Don, and Shannon
