Rick and I were neighbors growing up and very close. Lost track of him over the past years but very sorry to hear of his passing. God rest his soul!
Rick and I were childhood friends, we had many mischievous adventures together, including moving to Ca, in the 1980’s with a few dollars between us and made a go of it, I could write a novel on our adventures together and would have to water the stories down so folks would believe them. Rick,Connie, and I had way to much fun together it sometimes would involve us to be ask to leave places. My grandson and I went there say goodbye the night before he left and it was sad. I told him Connie will be ok it’s time to go now. Thank You Lord for taking him home when you did🙏. Love you 🥰 Rick see you some day again🙏
One of my favorite memories of Rick is the day he replaced our broken gate with a beautiful wrought iron gate he made. Our dog had just passed and jay was so upset. We were afraid our other dog could open our broken gate so Rick rushed over to put in a new gate. Rick was worried because j was so upset over the death of our dog and he wanted to make sure nothing happened to our remaining dog because jay couldn't take anymore heartbreak. Rick made the new gate to ease his friend's sadness. It's one of the nicest things anyone has done for us.
