Richard Ray Griffith's Obituary
Richard “Rick” Ray Griffith age 66 of Algonac, MI passed away June 12, 2024 in the Medilodge of Port Huron. He was born November 7, 1957 in Mt. Clemens, MI to the late Orman K. and Madonna J. (Danoma) Griffith. He married Connie Sue Scott in Alhambra, CA, on February 7, 1981 and again August 3, 1997.
Rick was a 1976 Algonac High School graduate. He worked as a Millwright and was a member of Union Carpenters Local #1607 of California and Local #1102 of Michigan. Rick was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing 1 Club Golf (his club of choice the 5 Iron). He was a volunteer for many different charities such as soup kitchens and shelters. He was a hard worker and provider. He was a very proud husband, father, and papa.
Mr. Griffith is survived by his wife Connie, daughter Angela Valdivia, and grandchildren Joseph Anthony Valdivia, David Alexander Valdivia, and Sarah Fae Valdivia.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a Service of Remembrance at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday July 7, 2024 at the Fort Gratiot County Park, South Pavilion, 3325 Metcalf Rd., Fort Gratiot, MI 48059.
