Miss Vera, thank you for taking me under your wing and teaching me how to sew and for being my friend all of those years ago. I will never forget the day you walked into my family's store and we instantly become friends. Shop hops, late night and weekend sewing sessions, kitty bear, and sitting on the back patio watching the water...you have never left my thoughts or my heart and I look forward to seeing you again one day. I had the pleasure of cleaning for Vee just over a year ago.. Vee was the sweetest and most caring person I’ve ever met.. Vee would’ve done anything for anyone… I’ll never forget her giving me a hard time when I brought an energy drink in one day.. man did she give me a hard time about how terrible it is for me. And now every time I look at any energy drink I have Vee yelling at me in my head.. I will miss her advice when I needed it. She was a very talented and creative woman. Vee could’ve done anything! I will miss her smiling face, but I know she’s in the perfect place. She will be missed by so many, but never forgotten.. rest in peace Vee, we will meet again.
Miss Vee, you have been such a bright spot in my life. She was a force. We spent many hours sewing together, laughing together, and yes even crying together. My life was so enriched with her knowledge, her advice (even if i didn't want it) hahaha, and her love. This world was a better world for having Miss Vee in it. You and Bill complimented each other. Your love for each other is an inspiration. What laughs we would all have when we just sat for a chat. My friend I love you and you will be so missed.
May God hold you in the palm of his hand until we can screw up a sewing project together again. I mean sew up a project again. Hahahahhaaa ❤️
