Vera Marie Shovan-Love's Obituary
Vera Marie Shovan-Love age 75 of Clay Twp., passed away May 26, 2025 in the Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. She was born September 5, 1949 in Algonac, MI. to the late Clyde and Virginia Leet. She married William "Bill" David Love.
Vera was a 1967 graduate of Farmington High School. She was a member of the Algonac Woman’s Life Group and the Algonac Church of Christ Piece to Peace Quilters.
Vera is survived by her husband Bill, daughter Catherine (Jeff) Shovan-Lang, and their children Claire Lang and Emma Lang, Stepson Brian (Lila) Love and their daughter Brittany (Javier) Love-Romero, and a stepdaughter. Michelle (Aaron) Johnson and their son Tommy Johnson
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday June 22, 2025 in the Algonac Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Algonac Woman’s Life Chapter 883, 814 State St. Algonac, MI. 48001 or to the Algonac Church of Christ Piece to Peace Quilters, 1601 St. Clair River Drive Algonac, MI 48001.
